"Yun Men said, "When you can't speak, it's there; when you don't
speak, it's not there. When you can't discuss it, it's there; when you
don't discuss it, it's not there." He also commented saying, "You tell
me, what is it when you're not discussing it?" Fearing people wouldn't
understand, he also said, "What else is it?""

trip-o-meter
I am taking my first trip to Austin in June. A short over the weekend trip to visit a good friend
and to see Austin.
I haven't flown in twenty years or so. What a stay-at-home person I've become!
Except for the occasional week long meditation retreat, I am pretty much a boring sleep-in-my-own-bed-at-night person. With the cats.
I am looking forward to the change of venue, to seeing the person and the place.
Not so much looking forward to the anticipated heat. As a southerner in exile, I have long been
acclimated to the Bay Area's mild summers and absence of sticky humidity.
We'll have to see how I manage.
